CD player defaulting to CD1 Track 1

I saw something on this awhile back but can't find it by searching. Anyone experience this? After the car sits overnight, the CD doesn't remember where it left off and defaults to 1 of 1. Anything we can do about this?

Thanks,

LR

UPDATE -

I think the stereo/CD need to be reprogrammed (kind of like the windows or mirrors can after loss of power). I'd hit a huge bump that caused the player to skip and I think this might have done it. Try ejecting the CD cartridge and reseating all the CDs, then reloading the cartridge. With the car running, cycle through CDs 1 through 6 (letting a few second of each one play). This fixed the problem for me.

I had this same problem in my old 01 S500. I would just remove all the CD's, reload and it would work. It was a pain the the azz and was quite embarassing with a nice lady sitting next to you.
