Good evening gentleman. My 2002 s500 apparently has attracted a severe infection. Trying to see if there is a doctor in the house that might be able to diagnose the illness. Symptoms appear to be as follows. All mechanical of functions of driver side door, have ceased. Unable to control anything at all from the driver side, including the vacuum door close. The vacuum appears to function on all other doors. Both rear windows will not operate at all, however the front passenger window is functioning well from the passenger control only. By process of elimination, I believe that Ground Zero for problems /infection could be the discount window tinting center where I recently had my windows tinted. Problem began a day or so after the procedure. I checked the fuses per diagram and they all appear to be ok. After spending time reading many very informative posts, I am beginning to think that I might have a DCM problem. I would greatly appreciate any advice on the subject.

Your suspicions are probably correct; it sounds like you may now have several bad door control modules. The units do not take at all well to water.
