gas gauge problem??

gas gauge problem??
i havent really noticed this much until recently (been driving the s alot more)...after every fill up my gas needle never goes to the full part(pic posted)....in all other cars the gas needle goes a little beyond the full point and doesnt move for about 50-70kms...now my question is...could it be that when the dealer put in the new cluster a few months ago (recall) that they didnt calibarate it properly? or is it something else? anyone have something similar??? any help is much apprectiated!

I dont know about the issue at hand, but your fuel reserve warning light should not be illuminated in that shot, yet it is

The reason the light is on is because he has the key in position 2. The engine is not running.

I should have noticed that by the engine management light on the left too, doh
