You better find that mice and take 1000$ from it.
I had this problem 2 weeks ago, go to ebay buy strut and find independent shop to replace it, so in that case you save about 600$
Good Luck

Your tech is probably having a great laugh at your expense with the mouse story. Do a search of the forums on "airmatic" and "airmatic seal kit" and see what comes up.

In all likelihood you have a leak in an upper front strut seal, or a bad block atop your airmatic pump. About $550 including labor for seal kits for both front struts (replace both of them).

Have you done that before? Repairing leak by yourself or somebody did it for, because i have my old strut with a leak

I had mine done by the dealership, but some have done the work themselves. See http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w220...placement.html, https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w220/198223-airmatic-strut-rebuild.html, and http://www.aboveallmotorwerks.com/Pr...3202538_S.aspx - but be advised a special tool is needed to complete the job.

The kit is only for the upper seals, which have been the most common failure point. If your leak was elsewhere in the strut, this kit would not do the job.
