Personally, I don't care what your lights say. I don't care what letters that dude put on his trunk either. I just felt like saying that aftermarket headlights are a tacky mod. Regardless, I know people are sensitive so I'll say it again, it's not personal. And if all your lights are OEM then my comments wouldn't apply to you, so why would you pay it any mind...
If your upgrading from 00 to 03 headlights, what is tacky? It is the next version of the car and it is superior. I see nothing wrong at all. Its a desgin from Mercedes, Nothing tacky.
Whats tacky is retrofitting Bently arnage headlight to an S500.

Aftermarket headlights are not the same quality as oem, that's why I think it's not an upgrade. Maybe an update? I live in a world where oem headlights are superior to aftermarket headlights!

I've seen Aftermarket parts better than OEM many many times.
