Voltage Issue? with HID

When i had stock bulbs in my car - non projector, non hid = when i push the pedal they would get a little brighter and when released they would dim slightly.
N O W - I just installed HID's and i noticed when i turn them on only one will work - the other will blink/glow... if i push the pedal alittle (with car on DUH) and turn on the lights they will work... im thinking they arent getting the voltage it needs to start up... could that be an Alternator issue? or is there a trick with installing HIDs with these s-classes

usually thats signs of alternator load you are talking about (pressing / releasing the brake). Check the connections on your HID make sure that you are getting enough power with a volt meter.
