ESP BAS ABS ERROR UNIVERSAL SOLUTION
Heres your solution for the ABS ESP BAS, put key in position 2 and lock the steering wheel to the right and left. You're done. Had the problem this morning, googled it on my mobile phone, found youtube video, bam done, came off. Its a regular error according to the youtube guys, that has to do with the steering calibration.
Word to the dealers!
saved me a big bill.
Remember, the steering wheel may feel stiff, but lock it anyway.

I had this happen to a C class I used to own. I called the dealer and that is exactly what the service manager told me to do.
