Got hit by a Honda Civic yesterday. The W220 held up pretty well, not the same thing could be said about the Civic

When it comes to repair bill, look like it will be much more expensive for the W220. Outside damage on the W220 include bumper, rear trunk, and muffler, and that'll go for around $5K. Once the shop remove the bumper, then we'll find out any work need to be done to the structure/frame (likely !!!).

Also, the rear trunk soft closer stop working, as does the driver door !!!. I wouldn't be too surprise it the repair bill hit $10K or more.

Good thing is that I let the MB dealer handle the repair, so they can take care of all the jobs related to the vacuum & electronic.

He apologize for being in a hurry, so being speedy and not keeping sufficient distant.

Good news is that there's no lawyer & chiropractor involved, I just want my car fix, so it won't affect his insurance rate that much.

Better news is none of my kids is in the car while this happens. Usually, I drive my boys to grandma in the morning, but my wife get time off from work, so both the 2 months and 2 years old boy stay with mom that day.

Sorry to hear this zam2000. I wish you the best of luck with the repair, and that your nice car can be brought back to where it was before. I agree with letting a MB dealer handle the repairs too.
