2003 S600

Considering a body kit.

I'm thinking about putting a body kit on the 2003 S600. I like the look of the AMG kit. I saw a black W220 S65 the other day which just looked fantastic. I'm hoping some of you guys will post pics of your 2003+ W220's with different body kits. I've seen kits on eBay that were relatively inexpensive, but I don't think that's the way to go. Where have you bought your kits, and what experiences have you had with the vendors? Which are the kits to stay away from? Thanks!!

W220 S65 AMG

I would stay away from all after market body kits.

I think the 2003+ AMG body kit on the S-Class is the way to go!

I really missed my 65.

Yep, I probably should have looked around for a car with a sports package, but It was a beautiful low mileage car at the right price. The money I saved allowed me to have Renntech tune it. I'm happy with it!! (BTW, took a new Z06 down a notch on the way home last night!!!!!)

Has anyone had success with any aftermarket kits??

Whats done is done can we just concentrate on helping the guy get a nice body kit. I agree with OXYGEN on the stock 03 up AMG kit ( post #2), where to get one i have no clue , I've seeing it on eBay before but don't know if it's the real thing .

The only ones I've seen on eBay are aftermarket.

It's a replica kit and it's for 00-02 models.

Sounds Good bro can't go wrong with AMG, thats why these aftermarket bodykit makers are having such a hard time designing nice kits for the AMG cars.

They have original AMG kits. $1900.00 Front, $1900.00 Rear, and $1400.00 for the side skirts. $5,200.00 + shipping. Seems like a lot to me, but they guarantee it will fit, and they guarantee it's from AMG!

I see you are from FL. Try these guys they are usually pretty reasonable on parts prices.

You may have to find the part numbers, but it is worth a try. Those prices are outrageous. Worst case you may have to piece a kit together, by looking on ebay or try this site as well www.car-part.com
