aftermarket amp/sub problem
Whats up guys,
I have an aftermarket system in my 02 s430 but its been giving me a problem. Ill be listening to the music but all of the sudden it will get really loud and then go really low non stop. It mostly occurs when i start to adjust the volume. I have used all different kinds of hi-lo converters and rewired the system completely but still same problem. Has anyone ever heard of this, and if so what can I do to fix it?? Thanks for the Help

I think that your internal microphone that is used to auto-adjust the volume might be causing a problem.
If you pull apart the OCP there should be a microphone inside - clip one of the wires going to it.
This is only true if you are using OEM COMAND.

If its aftermarket,
How can it be the OEM? more info would help/ IE:
WHat system,
How was it installed?
How is the volume controlled?
If its 100% aftermarket asking a question here is useless unless someone has thae same system installed which you did not identify.
