Do u have to take of the brakes to change the sensor

Cool Do u have to take of the brakes to change the sensor

I'm in the stealer they say that the most take the brakes of in order to replace the brake wear sensor they are charging 80 to do the job what u guys think

Nah. I bet you I can change the sensors without removing the wheels or lifting the car at all.

I can change them without removing the wheels but that's me.
That has nothing to do with the way the dealer tech's do their job so if thats their protocol, then you can;t tell them how to do what they do.
You can however go somewhere else, but why? if you can't do it yourself, then you need to spend $80. or whatever you need to spend on your car till you learn how to do things yourself.

You have to expect to pay something for a job if you take it somewhere to get done and the minimal you should expect to pay is 1 hour for anything. this is less than that.

i want to do it my self i at the dealer because i had a flat on one of the tires and i ask if they could do it for a small fee but 80 thats over the limit.

how can i do it how do i remove and put the new one in, i could pull it out or remove something

Yup, stick your hand in between the wheel spokes and yank the sensors and plug the new ones in. It should look like a little copper wire going to the brake pads.
