S65 vs SLR

Did anyone notice that these cars have almost the exact same quarter mile time??? That is insane for a 4 door. Does anyone on this board have one and how much was the W220 S65 when new??

I timed my purchase wisely. I got it new in September 2006, for $110K. List was about $170K.

The SLR can trounce the S65 on a track, but for a quick, 400 mile hop from San Jose to LA, nothing beats the S65. It beats flying.
