I am tired of my rear wheels rubbing...
I just wanted to no what width you would have with that offset.
My offset is ET42, 10inch width. I'm betting you cant get an ET44 offset on a 10" width rim thats all?
By the way, my06clk the 275/30/20 tyres are fine!
I ended up going with some brand new Falkens as there wern't any preworn avaliable in this size. They are 100% fine.
Am just waiting to do my back lights and tint the windows then start a thread with some pics. Downside is that the car appears higher now with the slimmer tyres!
Before:
Front- 265/30/19 Width 8.5 offset et 32
Rear - 285/30/19 Width 9.5 offset et 35
(Rub my rear arcs as hell)
Now:
Front- 285/30/19 Width 9.5 offset et 35
Rear - 265/30/19 Width 8.5 offset et 32
(no rubbing rear arcs at all)
So now i dont understand how is that possible, i have even smaller offset than m4xm1l10n said, but there is no rubbing, so it means i can get 8.5 width rims with offset anywhere between et 32 and et 44?

In simplier terms, that means that your 8.5 wheels sit .118" further out than the 9.5's but they are overall 1" thinner that the 9.5 so you still end up with .882 of extra space in total.
Why are you running 265 tires on a 8.5" wheel on the front of your car?
your nave and speedo must be sick of you...

he said et44 and et42 correct, and when i swap my wheels wheels dont rub no more thats it
The Higher the ET, the bigger rim you can run.
For example, a 10" width rim on an ET42 will work.
A 10" width rim on an ET32 wont work, unless you run a ridiculus tyre, as you stated eariler.
an et0 would be dead center. a +42 offset would be 42mm from the center of the wheel towards the face.
if you're fenders are already rolled, and you can try stretching a smaller tire as mentioned above; however some will argue that it's not safe. this will put the sidewall of your tire at more of an angle to help give additional clearance.

Yea and your rim will stick out so much it will look ridiculus!
275 rear tyres on my 10" width are pushing it.
To be honest the 285 looked better, and protecting the rim more.
Its getting a balance between protecting the rim and not looking stupid but more importantly not affecting the ride.
