HELP...NEDD ALIGNMENT!!!!

Hey everyone,

Well I have an 01' Mercedes S600. I have 20" aftermarket wheels and Yokahama advans that are practically brand new. I noticed a vibration when driving the car. It almost felt like a hopping. Well I brought it to my wheel place and sure enough my tires are wearing uneven(wearing on the inside of the tire compared to the rest of the tire). I have my car lowered and I have had my car aligned by Mercedes but they told me they cant get it into spec because of the wheels and the lowering of the car. Can anyone suggest any remedy to resolve this issue? Is Mercedes the only place that can align my car or can I bring it somewhere else? Does anybody sell a camber kit where I can fix this problem? Also, if anyone knows of a place in New Jersey/New York area where they can definately get my car right, I would really appreciate that as well. Thanks for the help in advance...

For the camber kit.

http://www.k-mac.com.au/

MB sells camber bolts for more adjustment but I heard its not worth it.

Will you be able to get it perfect ? Maybe , close enough , I bet.

Most dealers are worthless aligning a car with any suspension mods or even a car thats far out of spec. You need a guy thats going to take the time and adjust everything and adjust again.

I hit a terrible pothole in NYC , even blew my tire out and had the steering wheel crooked and off center!! I brought my car to 2 Mb dealers and they claimed the car was unalignable. They said its too far out of spec! Charged me a 1hr diagnostic each and left the car worse than when it started.

I talked to my indy mechanic, he gave me a wheel and tire place and this place charged me $100 and got the car tracking perfectly straight with no extra parts.

The problem with the dealers is they will put it on the machine and if the values are in the red they wont go a step further and cry about it.

If you want the place that fixed my alignment is on long island. I was amazed this place did it after 2 dealerships told me too bad.

If in CT, go to a Town Fair Tire. They have great equipment for 4 wheel alignment, and the price is reasonable, like 1/2 price if you are buying 2 tires, free if you are buying 4 tires.

My car had both rears toe in, and car was loose around bumps and corners. TFT did the alignment. The difference is drastic. The car is on rails now. Tire wear is normal, factory size.
