Headlight flickers under hard braking?

Headlight flickers under hard braking?
My driver's side xenon lamp just recently started to flicker off and back on if I stab the brakes or go over a really big bump and then of course I get the Check L Lamp message. I looked at the back of the headlamp to see if I could notice something obvious but haven't checked inside of the unit or checked the ballast connections yet. Has anyone else had this happen or does anyone have a culprit in mind to check first?

I had that on my old headlights over bumps and it was getting worse and worse for me. How is your light output in general?

The light output is still great, and there is no difference between output on the driver vs. passenger side. Are you referring to the ballast being on it's way out or some other part of the headlamp?

Right now it is few and far between times that this happens, maybe once per every other night, at once it's usually once per night, all at times when the car is jolted (like from heavy braking, big potholes, a stab at the throttle, etc.)
