255/30 on a 10" wide rim will be SOOOOOOOO stretched it will look stupid...i ran a 245/30 on the 9" wide rim and the stretch looked gross...esp if your running a 245/35 up front it will look very out of proportion...i say try the 255/35/20...itll still be stretched but it wont be that bad..i HIGHLY doubt youll rub with that..
I agree but he's really got to go to some place that will let him figure this out or know what to do because usually when tires are mounted they are yours forever.

my rear wheels also had the wrong offset so i had to run a small spacer to clear the caliper...i ran 275/30 on the rear fine until i lowered it...mind you my rear rim is only 9" and front is 8.5"....im currently running 245/35/20 all around...so if your running a 10" wide wheels with the 255 i think it will look fine...
heres the 245/35 all around
and heres the 245/30 rear...out of proportion compared to the front imo..also notice the stretch
and the 275/30
hope that helps

i cut and trimmed everything in my wheel well...fenders rolled and all..still rubbed with the 275...my tire was rubbing the top of the wheel well on the pass. side only..there was nothing really i could do..so i just swapped to the smaller tire...in your case it might be that little metal piece that everyone talks about..just search it up..
