introduction and a question
Hello everyone,
Wanted to introduce myself to this forum as I have just purchased a 2005 s500 sport 4matic. The car is great and am I still learning everything about this car.
I have owned a MB w124 for 15 years now and have been looking for a w220 for quite some time.
1 question that I did have though is in regards to the accent light located on the inside shining over the door handle. The lights on the other doors work and stay lit. The one located on the drivers side rear door will come on momentarily then shuts off. Is the module bad or should I be looking for something else? How difficult would it be to replace the module for the light?
Any tips would be appreciated as well as some direction on how to remove the door panel or other tips to make this job easier.

welcome,and im waiting for the answer also
the same issue exists on our 2003 S500 sport.both front door handles started flickering and working intermittently and now no illumination at all.i have had friends that could not find the handle at night because it isnt illuminated any more.this forum has some amazing experience/knowledge in reguards to its members and someone will pinpoint the problem.
