One issue fixed-- now another

2005 S500-58000 miles:
Looks like my Keyless Go system is diagnosed and fixed. Yea!
Now I am getting a SRS Defective (Supplemental Restraint System) signal on the display. Hopefully, it's only a sensor issue. Since this is a safety matter, shouldn't MB take care of this even though the car is just out of warranty regardless of what the cause is?
Thanks for the input.

Yes and they will give you an SLR as a rental while they fix it

Judging from the first couple of responses, I'd guess that would be a big
N O.
Kinda strange since even Chevrolet paid to replace a computer module in a six year old vehicle since they considered it a safety matter. Oh well, so much for doing the right thing.

Yeah, acura fixed mine 100K plus miles and 8 years later. But, a benz is a benz. Gotta pay to play. And apparently be safe too
