K&N is in the business of horsepower and has designed two lifetime replacement air filters (33-2412) for a variety of 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Mercedes Benz and Maybach models. See the complete list of vehicles below. Part 33-2412 consist of two K&N air filters because two air filters are required for all of these models.

The twin turbo engines on these vehicles use two OE filters because the engine has two air boxes, one for each cylinder bank. The engine on the Maybach is almost mirrored and the two air boxes are located on the left and right front corners of the engine bay.

These K&N air filters are made to fit directly into each factory air box and no cutting or fitting is required. The 33-2412 are made with extended seals to make sure no dirt gets between the lid and the base of the air box housing. Simply remove the OE filters and replace them with the K&N air filters for additional performance. These are twin filters and there is no right side or left side.
