Airmatic - raised position
I have a 2000 S500 with the airmatic suspension. I just replace all 4 struts, the pump, and the block. The car was running fine for about 2 months, but now there's something wierd going on.
Everytime I park the car, instead of hearing the hissing sound of the car lowering, the car actually rises. For example, every time I park the car at night, when I come out in the morning, I see that the car is raised to the highest position. When I open and close the door, the car starts to lower to where it should be when parked.
Does anyone know what the problem could be? Or has anyone ever experienced this?
Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds as if the car is actually transfering the air from the tank to the struts when the car is off... I look this up see if there's anything in the function description for this.

The system is a simple pump to tank to block to springs with tubing in between. Sounds like somehow the tech got the lines reversed for input with exhaust from block.
