2000 S430 : 3 Questions
1) my cell phone is an analog ATT Startak phone, I cant get it activated by any ATT locations, what should I do? How much does it cost to get the headset area changed from analog to digital which I assume is the new V60 phone?
2) The S-class has dual exhaust standard, I would like to complement my Carlsson body kit by adding 4 way chrome exhaust tips preferably with a logo such as ////AMG, Lorinser, Brabus, or Carlsson on it. I cant seem to find these anywhere, would E-class ones fit the S-class or does that not matter? How much do they cost for 4 good chrome tips and where can I get them?
3) I have the 1999 New England Comand Disc, I cant get the update since im not the owner and my local benz dealers dont have after 7/01 update cd's. Does anyone have the CD that can help me out here one way or another?

2000 S500 Brilliant Silver, 1990 BMW 735iL, 1971 Pontiac Trans Am 455 HO, 1976 Pontiac Formula 400
S class exhaust
with those hidden dual exhausts, short of replacing the mufflers, etc., I have found the only thing that works at formymercedes.net.
They are oval shaped chrome tips made by Schatz. There are good pictures of them at that site.
I installed them on my '00 S500 and they look good. No modifications to the rear body panel. They look great from the back, but if you are aways away from the car to the side, you can see that they are tips only. You can see the flat front edge of the tips.
BTW, the S600's have same style ends and you can also see a front straight edge of the chrome tips from the side, although tucked up tighter, as they probably come straight back from the mufflers.
