2000 S430, 1999 E 320, 2 K5 blazers,
W/S button question
Hey just a quick question i know that the buttin with the W means winter or wet and the s is summer or sport.
my question is how bad is it to normally drive with it in the W positon if its normal weather for some strange reason the tread on my tires wear uneven when it is in S postion.

just a question when i am in W mode i noticed my tires are louder then when it is in S. and the tends to grab better also when it comes to turning.
Anyone know why my tires would not wear uneven when it is in W mode?

When in W the 2nd gear start and earlier shifts in all gears may lessen engine noise such that you are more aware of tire noise....I can think of no reason you should have increased tire wear in S other than pushing the peddle down harder and driving more spiritedly.
