Has anyone change the left front suspension

The car left side suspension sounds terrible when hitting a pothole i belive that it needs to be replace, I just want to know if you guy have change before and what did you pay for the suspension and how much for labor. My car is a 06 430 4matic.

It depends, there are so many things that could go wrong. Usually, the shocks dont cause the noises you hear in terms of squeaks and squeals. Could be ball joints, control arms, anything magical under the car. Take it to an indy if your not hands on.

Same thing happened to me on my old S500. The driver rear airmatic shock started making nasty noises. Needed to be replaced and cost me about $1600 total parts and labor.

If its making noise when you turn, it not the shock itself, as a shock only moves in one direction. Its most likely your lower control arm. A $200, 45min fix.

if its an embarrasing squeeking noise that you hear, it is more than likely your control arms. Look under your call and you will see that they are most likely worn. I got away for a while greasing them but it looks like I will have to replace them soon.
