For example, occasionally when I change to a new preset SAT station using the numeric keypad (staton#1 for example, but could be any station) the command module may properly show and play the new station (#1) but the dash display will continue to show the previous station. To make this interesting, sometimes the command display also continues to show the previous station, yet properly plays the new selection (showing the correct artist, etc.). If I punch the numeric keypad a second time, all the displays synch up. Strange.

 

I just noticed this for the first time yesterday. Did not do it today. Never happens in my E500. I installed the one in the S500 myself and never had it version coded - could be the problem?

 

Did you notice during bad weather? My satellite system and my nav system misbehave during stormy cloudy weather.

 

No, this was during a sunny day. In fact, I've never driven the S500 in rain, so I couldn't tell you if it happens then or not. So far, just this once.
