Before you comment about the trucks, no not ONE has laid on its side because of any work I did on them.
Well thanks for the clarification Knowledge even..There is more than 1mm of thread on that bolt past the nut ( 3 or 4mm of thread actually ) so if all you needed was 1mm to make it work, that's actually a good peice of information.

Still don't like the wheels but now I'm more educated on the fitment of 22's. I knew the guys at Butler Tire in Altanta do them a lot over there but I never got too deep into how exactly. Now I know.

No problem, like I stated before I worked on trucks and believe it or not the thread thats left on the bolts thats holding the rims are sometimes maybe less then a mm!! Also on the frame they shave off the thread completely in some areas. Just think about it........the car can go 200k with the original swing arm and the nut will be in the same place from when they put it on in the factory. If the bolt were to get loose it will come off regardless if it have 3mm of thread or 1mm. Im not a rocket scientist but come on fellas it doesnt take much brain to realize that.

They make the car look cheap, and Asian somehow. BTW - if you are asking for input, don't shoot the messenger ... YOU ASKED ... THEY REPLIED!

As for shaving ... if you don't work on MB's, I'd hate to see you shave that bolt. Imagine what a dealer would say if you brought the car in for service. They'd probably decline to work on the vehicle if you brought it in for suspension work. Heck, if you ever sell the car, someone is going to be surprised. TRACKERS aren't MB's!

You didn't read anything about a spoiler or exhaust in my post, so I am not sure of the purpose of your post.

Is that supposed to mean something? I guess it's easy to cry when people actually give their reply to your post, but I would have thought you at least graduated elementary school. Your post indicates otherwise.

Unbelieveable - the great Karnak knows all. You're truly amazing. If you know everything, why bother to ask people for their input. Oh yes, when they give you input, you suggest they did not read what they said. Makes sense to ... uh ... nobody. Excelent way to prove a point. Just exactly what the point is, is unknown.

FWIW - OFF TOPIC is a graphic that is available on the forum, to *politely remind* people when they are no longer on the same topic of the original thread ... being an query as to styling of wheels. Then again, you probably already knew that. GOOD GRIEF Charlie Brown!
