COMAND system ID
I am located in Japan and I have an early 2004 production S500.
I need some help identifying the COMAND system.
It has the Bose upgrade sound package installed but I am not sure if is a D2B or MOST system. I am told that some early 2004s still had the D2B system installed.
The Navi system runs on a DVD that slides in the slot in the face of the unit.
I can also play movies on DVD and music CDs in the unit as well.
The unit will also play MDs in an upper slot.
There is also a space above the CD stacker unit in the trunk.
It appears that something was fitted there but
whatever was installed there has been removed by the previous owner.
Any idea what could have been be fitted here.
