2003 S500 Tips

Hello, I'm a newbie to the board. I am in the market for a S500 /w Sport Package. Anyone have any tips as to getting the car below sticker, rebates, etc?

I'm in the NY Metro area, and don't mind leasing from a non-MB dealer.

Thanks!

Greg

Great, thank you. Any other tips for the S500? I am also thinking of going the 430 route.

Hey bro, def go for the S500, are you going to get 4 matic? or go for the regular. I also suggest checking out The BMW 7 series or Lexus LS430 possibly before making your decision,

Not a fan of the 740, the MB is much more plush inside. Why do you feel so strongly about the 500 vs. 430?

Faztaz, what was the list price, and what options did you order? I am curious to see if the dealers on Long Island ALL drink from the same bottle!

if ur looking for new or old, its all the same, the 430 is 93% of the car of the 500 but only 90% of the price, personally V8 and 4.3 Litres is plenty to haul around this sedan.

Apricot, I tend to agree as I don't see any differnence between the 500 and the 430 w/ sport packages on the outside. I know the wood and leather is different, but is it that much better and worth the dollars? I guess it's all personal.

I would probably opt for the 430, spend $200 on nice exhaust tips, add the sports package and parktronic, and use the cash difference to pay the insurance.
