it's not the $122, it's paying the stealer. the majority of members here on the forum are here because they don't want to go to the dealer. The idea is for people tp help each other with technical issues. If the dealer can fix it then someone here knows how to reset the trunck, or replace the motor or cable, etc. Thanks in advance for your assistance, but I'll take my chances with the members here any day.

yeah, my friend, I get the point of a forum.
That said, the limiter should be in your cluster. Perhaps you've had your cluster replaced and it was improperly coded.
As good as the people are on this forum, sometimes you need a STAR computer

I believe early 220 cars did not have the menu in the instrument cluster. The Limiter feature has to be programmed via switch in the drivers door.
I am not sure when the feature was added to the instrument cluster
If your car is suppose to have that feature in the instrument cluster, it can be added easily but required programming. Chances are the menu was not programmed correctly if the instrument cluster was replaced at some point.
