If you use 95Ron unleaded instead of the 98 as the manual says (S600) can this lead to odd missfire at high revs? no engine warning light

96 and 08 911 turbos
its possible but highly unlikely.

Do you have an 00-02 model? They are absolutely known for misfires that are horribly expensive to repair.

yep its 01, the miss was solved, with new plugs. i just wondered if the wrong fuel would have caused them to go. and should i get the ecu remapped for 95 fuel to help preserve the plugs

The ECU should read the change and retard the timing and give you less power.
