22s on the s500

22s on the s500
i am thinking about throwing a set of 22 inch wheels on my 2000 s500 and was wondering if anyone who has 22s on theirs already have noticed any problems because of the big wheels ...please let me know

Don't do it, no matter how low it's been lowered it still looks taller than a suv. Friend did it and nothing but negatives over positives, ie. looks, rubbing, no turning radius, etc.

got to have my priorities in order my friend ... big chrome rims are more important to me then 2 little chrome pipes hangin off the bumper ... the tips was just an idea and after seeing how they look i decided not to get them

Glad you didn't get the exhaust. That would have been real cheesy from the side. Also man don't do 22s trust me. I have a few friends that have 22s it just looks like you doing to much and plus the rim is not going to be wide so it looks like your on wagon wheels. But its your car so you can do what you want. Just my opinion.

I had 22 before no issues at all and had car lowered too. Get the right ofsetts. I went staggered 20 because i wanted more of an agressive look. Here is a picture on 22"

I guess your not going to give up on the 22s. Well 2 things get the right offset, and you might need to replace your lower ball joints eventually. You will know when you get the old man rocking chair sound.
