2004 S 4Matic
4Matic on 2003 S
I understand that the 2003 S will have 4matic as anoption.
Can you please comment on this type of four wheel drive.
I am use to the system of the 2000 Ford Expedition.
How does it compare?
Is it full time.
Us it selectable that is regular four wheel or does it have regular and low settings. LOW four wheel.
Any other comments would be appreciated.
Thanks.

All of the above
4matic
I sell MB in PA and we have been told that the 2003 C & S class cars will have a 4matic option. Should be out in Sept./Oct. of this year. I expect it will be a similar system to the current E class with full time all-wheel drive tied into the Antilock brakes and ESP system. No "low range".
