Anyone want to buy a 03 AMG front bumper ?
I hit a possum, so the lower lip of my front bumper crack, along with the plastic support panel at bottom of the front. Insurance will replace it ($3000 job for the bumper + panel + grill + paint, $1000 for the AC condenser, $700 protection film). I have to pay the damn deductable, however.
I first thought about fixing it myself without going through insurance, and found few shop that quote $300-400, for repair + repaint. Since the crack is to the lower lip only, they don't have to repaint the whole bumper.
I also have the center grill, since it's bend, insurance replace it as well, but 2 minutes to make it look as good as new.
I can take pix and post here. By the way, the bumper also have a Clearshield (3M ??) film installed, so there's no rockchip in it. That's one of the reason why the replacement cost is a bit high, since we have to redo it again.
Make me an offer. Local sale only, no shipping. I live in OC, Southern California.
