Motor mounts need replacing and so does auto trunk motor...
Anyone have good sources for the parts & has anyone done these DIY? These two projects are next for me.

How did you figure out the trunk motor was blown? My trunk has issues... sometimes it will open like it should, that is, when the button is pressed it pops open, other times it wont respond and I have to manually open it with the key blade... Any ideas?

I have the auto trunk feature which lifts from inside the car with a switch or the trunk button on the fob. It lifts all the way open. Hit a button on the trunk and auto-close. Basically it started opening halfway, then many months later no opening at all. Funny thing is it will auto close but not auto open.....I thought it was the trunk shocks and not the motor. Mech says "opposite is true", to quote a Chinese friend of mine who is currently learning English.
