2001 S500
accelerator pedal

My 2001 s500 have a normal problem on acceleration "delay response and no kick-down", so I change a gas pedal as forum teached.

But the new pedal fixed, it come to 4000 rpm when the shift "P or N" automatically, and it will come to 1000 to 1200 rpm when "R or D" but it cannot increase "rpm" anymore even I press the pedal to the floor.

So I need to re-install the old pedal now, the problem is just like before "delay and no kick-down" but it can go smooth, at least under my control.

I worry about that the new pedal is mis-function or problem instead of other parts came from ? How to check "pedal" ? or return to shop and exchange another back ?

Or I should drive to shop "check and run computer" first before do anything more.

Thank you in advance for your "YOURS" assistance.
