Hi Guys,

I am looking at buying a 2000 S500 with about 55000 miles on the car. The car seems to be in perfect condition. Anything I should be on the look out for? I have heard that the car is awesome, but early models seem to be touch and go. Some guys have great cars no problems, some guys have all problems?

I live in Canada and will be driving the car in winter, and issues with the air suspension when is -30 outside?

Just looking for some general feedback and thoughts.

For cold country, you might be happier with a 4Matic, if you can afford an '03 or later. 4Matic wasn't available on the S-Class before the '03 model year.

I would buy a later car for the updated interior, better nav, MOST electronics, updated outside appearance, and 4matic.

They are worth the extra money, imho.
