Nice looking but way overbadged s600 in SF

I was walking back from lunch and saw a black s600 at the corner of Market and Spear. At first glance it looked really nice - black with smoked tail lights, nice tint, hood star replaced with AMG badge and cl style grill. There is the V12 badge on the side and then I looked at the back and it where it got interesting. The badging on the back was s600 on the left and then it had an AMG badge on the right with a V12 badge right above the AMG badge.

I felt like they had ruined a beautiful car with all of this badging. I understand that it the persons car and they can do as they wish, but it made me think, is this really an s430?? I doubt it was, but just oo much of a good thing spoiled it for me.

Anyways, if you are this board, nice car, just too many stinkin badges

You see cars of such all over the NYC area, especially Brooklyn. These guidos can't afford the real thing so they buy a badge, place it on a 430 or whatever. Funny, when I pull up beside them in my car and pass them up, they know I know they reside in dream land.

We have Mics, Wetbacks, and Krauts around here that do the same thing! (Just making fun of your use of a racial slur)

Guess I never thought of "Guido" being a racial slur as it is actually a name the Italians use for their kids. I associate the word "Guido" with these mafia wannabes. You know, the ones who say, "you don't know who you're messin with, you don't know what I can do to you, you're in the wrong neighborhood."

My words were not meant to be racial and I apologize to those who may have been offended.

I would characterize it as an ethnic slur rather than a racial slur, and yes, you should have known that it is derogatory.

So all the little boys named "Guido" are considered to have derogatory names? I see.
