I just bought an extended 3 yr. wty for my '07 S 600 ( $7400 -- ouch!)
and was wondering if you guys that have an S 600 have run into major repair issues with you car after the 4 yr original factory warranty. Any regrets about the 12 cylinder vs. the 8?

$7400...ouch!

Although it is comparing oranges and apples slightly (as this was for a 2004 S600) I got a 5yr/70,000 miles warranty for a shade under $3200 with $200 deductible. Came recommended by a CL65 owner on here.

I paid $3,300 for a two year MB extedned warranty for my S55. $7,400 is a bit too much but you will not be sorry, since nothing is inexpensive when it comes to the W220 repairs.

I assume you bought the MB extended warranty.

then buy the Chrsler warranty Fraser mentioned at less than half the cost

I paid $6800 for a 7 year/100k mile warranty. In first year, they have paid $10-11k in repairs to my car ($8k abc + $2k tranny issue). Still have 80k miles left.

I love my V12TT. There is nothing else like it.

which warranty company did you choose, who did you contact? my AUL is terrible, plus the mb service guys "hate" calling them and being on hold for 45 minutes each time there's a claim.
