blown x4/10 main 140/100 amp fuse probably. On my w215(similar car) this fuse panel is located underneath the front passenger carpeting

there is also another large fuse block on the rear wheelwell by the battery. From memory the box has a plastic cover that is more easily “snapped off” than removing the entire fuse box. Check with multimeter, if any fuses are blown it’s easier to replace the entire block

I tried to jump start it. But when I connected the negative to negative and positive to posive I got a spark.
There is nothing I can do at this point.
No communication with icarsoft code reader.
Steering wheel is not locked.
Please help.
you connect a battery with positive first, so that the arc that occurs when connecting the second terminal doesn’t damage any electronics or blow fuses

small arc(spark) is normal, just make sure you connect positive first: you may also have a main fuse problem like i mentioned in my last post on this thread

What do the fuses look like?

If it is that fuse its only available from the dealer. Mine cost me around $150.

I see a black box with two positive connections and a ground, are the fuses inside that box?

how did you get the black box off? I have removed the cables and 10mm nuts that attack it to the floor but it’s as if something else is holding it from coming up around the heavy pos cable area but I can see anything holding it ! HELP!!

Which black fuse connection are you talking about. Can you provide pictures or more info. Having the same issue

It often helps to read completely through the thread. Go back up a few posts to Post #54.
