Mp3 cd player is not playing an mp3 cd. Any ideas what problem might be? I tested cd in another car and it worked.

too many files/folders? Mb can only handle a combination of 99 of either.

I'm having the same problem with my MY04 W220. I burned a few CDs; one in audio format and another in mp3 format (only a few files as most of mine are long mixes) and neither play.

The audio format disc was recognised by the system as the name of the mix (as shows in iTunes - where I usually burn them) showed on the screen.

A pain in the butt as I don't own many "bought" CDs.
