Thanks for posting this. I really wish Mercedes was using the old materials instead of this crumple zone stuff... I just don't have the faith in it as I do with driving a steel tank.... I'm sure it was mandated by the government to protect pedestrians.

The 600TT is insanely fast, I wonder if he power slid... but it looks like an 02 judging by the wheels. It is really easy to lose traction on the TT. Amazing how everyone lived... I wonder what the extent of the injuries were. I've totalled a few BMWs going at 70-90 mph and walked out of each one.

He says his back end slipped.

They don't have a scratch on them.

Btw those wheels were available on the 99/00 S-Class. Could be much older.
