New to the mercedes family but very happy. Can anyone tell me a little about changing from airmatic suspension to struts? Are there many cons to the changeover?I'd appreciate any feed back because I'm about to bring my 2000 S500 to my mechanic because I am losing air in the front Thnx

If losing air in the front is your only suspension issue, might want to just get the struts resealed (they often do not need replacing).

The consensus on this forum is that changing to coil springs is not recommended and you should keep your MB original.

Arnott sells refurbished air struts with a liffetime guarantee.
