Couple Questions About The Different Model Years.

I'm actually looking into purchasing a 2000-2006 S500 4Matic in the near future. I was just curious as to what the differences throughout the years were. I think I heard something about the lights and steering wheel being different, anyone have any information on this?

A Mercedes obviously!
The main changes were in 2003. The COMAND system went widescreen with updated navigation system (in 2004 it went to DVD based rather than CD based) and this also sorted out some of the COMAND based electrical problems from the earlier cars. There were some other changes to the exterior; headlights (clear lenses) and rear tailights (different layout).

Am sure someone else can assist with some more details.

BTW, might want to edit your title so it is more descriptive. Will get more views.
