hi there hello to all, brilliant site. was hoping someone could help me .the problem is with the multifunction buttons and horn on the steering wheel.I cant get them working.also the srs light has come on , might be something to do with with the airbag on the steering. would love any advice. thanks .

Have you recently had to jump start the car?

I did last week due to a weak battery and it damaged the Electronic Control Module which disabled several functions like rear sun shade, seat controls AND SRS light staying on.

It sounds like the clockspring is broken. This is the rotating link between everything on the steering wheel, and the rest of the vehicle.

hi thanks for the reply . i've only had the car a few weeks it's been fine since i bought it . i'll look into that will ask the garage if it was jump stared at anytime. thanks
