what the heck is an UCP?

took my car to the dealership because the switches(all of them on the dash) do not work. flasher, abc, esp etc. they hooked it up to the computer and the UCP came up as faulty.(yellow triangle of death with exclamation point). the guy told me it was located in the overhead console behind the reading and courtesy lights. is this true? anyone evr have this problem? i was told if the switches did not work it would either be the switches themself or the left front SAM, anyone help me out? good thing is, they did not charge me for the 1.5 hours labor so far.

Ucp stands for upper control panel which is the switches on the dash under the wood.

The one on the headliner is the OCP overhead control panel.
