Is this a good deal? Also, I'm planning on keeping it at least 5+years, would one expect a lot of problems from W220's even from 05?

Not a good deal! lol you can find em cheaper then that! Well atleast i think i can! I have a 01 430 and i regret i didnt get a 500. Go with a 500

It is pricey for a 5 year old S430... and I agree, I think you'll regret not going for the S500

Im thrilled with my s430, but havent compared the 2 back to back... why is the 500 so much better? Power difference seems minimal

yes 30 hp might seems alot but i mean they both good my friend has the s500 and i have s430 not much really both will give u the luxury feeling and the speed.. i dont know for me i think s430 is good enough too
about the price i really dont know because im from canada and cars here are more pricey than states

I have owned my S-430 since 2003. My best mileage, Cincinnati to Cleveland and back, was over 34 mpg. It pays for itself, plus, you get the ride and handling of the S-Class.
