SOS malfunction on startup

SOS malfunction on startup
The other day my girlfriend decided to push the little service buttons in the center armrest... and the system tried to dial out... and couldnt because its analog...
So I did the next most logical thing... PUSHED THE SOS BUTTON! HAHA... the car went went ballistic trying to dial the old analog emergency number, took over the whole command unit, then sounded a wicked alarm and embarassed the hell out of me in the middle of the packed Target parking lot!
Now that it has realized it can't dial out, it warns me of the malfunction every time i turn the car on and off!
Do i need the dealer to reset the SOS malfunction warning? UGH
