Gear Stuck...Buying replacement lever

So I am going to remove the broken plastic piece in the gearbox that so many have said to do, but I need to replace that piece due to safety reasons (children)...Ive noticed monoglobal sells this part is there anywhere else I should look?

also, on monoglobals website theres 2 different levels for w220, which one do I need? I have a 2002 S430. thanks a bunch!

You'll need to compare the broken piece to the samples. Try this place also for the metal piece:

No. Only when you replace the entire module is reprogramming required.

Why do you say they don't have the lever? Did you call? I don't believe the site is fully operational as yet, but he says he has the metal levers. In fact, here's his video. Give 'em a call. I live near the place but haven't had a chance to get over there. I wish I new about him a few months ago BEFORE I had my "stuck in park" problem on my '02 CL. Had I known, I'd have used his metal lever. As it is, I didn't replace it. Keep us posted.

My car broke down in my garage. After missing two days in the office, I decide to remove the part and fix it later. I have kids too so I put the emergency brake on. I made the mistake of not putting the shifter cable on tight...so I've done the job twice. I can remove everything in 15mins and back on in 10mins. Oh, I called the guys in Oakland Florida 754-242-2700 or 754-235-0000 I think this is the guys at 4mercedes.com. The Part is also on ebay.

So, is this problem replacing ABC and Airmatic, as the most frequent issue with the W220's? Seems like there are more and more posts with this issue.

Mercedes
The plastic in the shifters are starting to break as the cars age... suspension was first to show problems, this one a little later.
