Wheel help with my W220

Hi there - I have a W220 with standard stock wheels 16"

I have been offered a set of 8JX17 ET43 part number A2214010202 wheels which are from a W221. The size and offset seem to be close to the W220 (I understand the W220 is offset 44?) from what I know, but, before I go ahead and try them would anyone be able to confirm whether these are a straight swap, or, would the size and offset cause problems?

I don't want to modify the car in anyway to accommodate the wheels.

Any help would be really appreciated as the last thing I want is rubbing, or suspension problems.

Cheers

Any thoughts? Lot's of people have viewed, but, no responses so far. Have I posted in the wrong section / place? Would really appreciate some help. I have looked around the forums and have seen that some members say that W221 wheels on a W220 are possible if the offset is right, others have said no and so I am just a bit confused.

Thanks in advance.

one way i get fitment answers is to ask ebay sellers who are selling the same wheel ,and are wheel pros (as opposed to private sellers) if they will fit my car.

or if you are local to the seller, just to to the tire shop together and have them test fitted,
