2006 glovebox release button
i have a 2006 s500 i need a new glove box release latch button its not possible to just get a button i have to buy the whole sealed unit lock button and latch its 1 piece has lock on top and release button on bottom my interior is that ash gray but ill take any color and paint if i have to lmk if u can help cbailey758@aol.com or pm me

That's true Dave. The button and lock mechanism is one MB part number. The cost at Dealer is $250. Your existing lock will fit into the new unit so you use the same key.
