Hankook V12 Ventus tire impressions..and voice control!
First, I've had the car for a while now, but only recently found out one neat feature.....voice control! I never knew it had this. Yesterday I was looking at the steering wheel, and trying to figure out what that knob on the right was. I hit it, and heard the sound..I remembered watching top gear's review of the S600, so I figured it was only in the later model years..but my 2001 S55 has it!
Anyway, to the tires. I had Dunlops and General UHP before, but recently they were very worn down so I did not like them very much.
The Hankooks, for the price, are phenomenal. Very comfortable ride, really quiet - but most importantly, the handling is superb in both dry and wet. I've been able to get good traction even when it's slightly damp, whereas before the traction control would go crazy.
I'm very happy with these - and recommend them. Just a bit over $600 for the set, I think they are a good deal!
